Day 32: Social Justice

SOCIAL JUSTICE

As a church we are always committed to being an agent of God’s justice upon the earth, bringing solution to the poor, needy and disenfranchised. We extend our efforts locally and globally to initiatives and projects that meet the needs of people practically and spiritually, choosing to work through the local church in any area as much as it is possible.
Once a year, we highlight a handful of these as the special focus for our annual 'Missions’ weekend inviting the whole church to combine our effort, make a significant impact and achieve a greater outcome.
Pray for those in need who are the focus of these projects, along with those who serve in these ministries. Together, let’s believe God to work through these projects in a miraculous way that brings glory to His name and restoration where there is brokenness.
IF YOU DO AWAY WITH THE YOKE OF OPPRESSION, WITH THE POINTING FINGER AND MALICIOUS TALK, AND IF YOU SPEND YOURSELVES IN BEHALF OF THE HUNGRY AND SATISFY THE NEEDS OF THE OPPRESSED, THEN YOUR LIGHT WILL RISE IN THE DARKNESS, AND YOUR NIGHT WILL BECOME LIKE THE NOONDAY.
THE LORD WILL GUIDE YOU ALWAYS; HE WILL SATISFY YOUR NEEDS IN A SUN-SCORCHED LAND AND WILL STRENGTHEN YOUR FRAME.
YOU WILL BE LIKE A WELL-WATERED GARDEN, LIKE A SPRING WHOSE WATERS NEVER FAIL.
